Welcome to the Wisconsin Outdoor Groups!
This is the home of the Madison Area Outdoor Group and Central Wisconsin Outdoor Group.
Both groups are a great way to meet other outdoor enthusiasts. Anyone dedicated to outside excursions near and far with a focus on leaving no trace on our lands is welcome! We encourage our members to host any outside activity for which they have a passion. We also hold the occasional indoor event focused on outdoor topics or meeting fellow members. We don’t take stands on politics, and we don’t host charity runs. We regularly donate to local parks, conservation groups, and outdoor improvement projects. See you outside!

A one-time $5 dues payment gives you full access to our event calendar and detailed descriptions of upcoming events. Your membership also grants you access to RSVP and pay for camping spots at our numerous group camping events each season.
